ACC Level II Cricket Coaching Course held in Jeddah

JEDDAH: The Saudi Cricket Center under the aegis of ACC’s strategic Cricket Development Program, organized a five-day ACC Level II Cricket Coaching Course conducted under the supervision of Mohammad Iqbal Sikandar, ICC Development Officer for Asia, recently.
Twenty-two ACC Level I qualified coaches from five regional Cricket Associations of the kingdom went through extensive training programs comprising theory and practicals.
Audio and video clips were shown to the budding coaches in batting, fielding and the bowling departments.
The coaches were also taught the art of communication skills with the young and other cricketers. They were also taught how to extract useful information of video analysis for the benefit of youngsters to find the defect and fault with their bowling, batting, fielding and then to correct them with the help of videos and other available data.
The main objective of the course was to give technology-based knowledge and to equip them to deal with the future challenge.
Participants: Hasanat Ahmed, Hassan Malik, Jaweed Ahmed, Mohammed Mazhar Abbasi, Syed Iftikhar Ahmed, Abdul Gafour, Mohammed Farooq, Mohammed Nadeem, Vijender Singh, Mohammed Azeemuddin and Rahat Ali Chaudhry (WPCA Jeddah). Tariq Tanveer Ahmed, Iftikhar Ali, Abul Hasan Vadoodh, Shafaat Khan, Rizwan Qayyum (EPCA, Dammam). Mohammed Imran Khan (YACA), Taqiuddin (RCA). Irfan Hamza and Arshad Raza (MCL, Madinah Munawwara), Liaqat Ali (JRCA) and Rizwan Hashmi (AQCL).
