What is even more unfortunate is that sometimes that pessimism is justified. There are parts of the planet that are war torn, that have been torn apart by conflict. Every week, there are stories of an innocent being murdered or whole crowds being blown up.
The thing about living is that sometimes it is not easy. It can be rather difficult to just keep on staying alive. Being current on everything that is going on with the world can break the soul. But it is something that can be done.
