This was the underlying message at a forum that concluded here this week in the presence of heads of the youth councils across the Kingdom. It was agreed to work on programs to strengthen security efforts for the cause of national unity.
The participants agreed on the implementation of youth programs through a cafe dialogue, ambassador forum for the dialogue of civilizations and projects such as Bayader volunteer work and the convoy dialogue.
The first meeting was held with the participation of eight heads and officials of youth councils across the Kingdom where they addressed topics of common interest.
In his address, Faisal Al-Muammar, KACND secretary general, stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between youth councils and KACND in the light of the current situation in the socioeconomic and cultural field.
“This is great beginning with youth committees to achieve the aspirations of the community in the field of youth issues, and contribute to the meeting in enhancing joint efforts, cooperation between stakeholders,” he observed.
He pointed out that such cooperation can help in overcoming obstacles preventing the culture of dialogue.
It is noteworthy that the main theme of the meeting was the subject of a search mechanism for integration between youth councils and the center in program support, and ways of implementing programs as well as the formation of a volunteers committee to launch special initiatives for the youth.
